Wake me up at 5 please8/16/2023 There have been studies that say power naps are fantastic for achievement. An hour or even a half an hour can set you up for the rest of the day easily. Focus on getting a little sleep here and there and eating right your results will sky rocket. It’s a decision, be comfortable for a little, or front load your day and be comfortable in the evening. And the relative peace in those 4 hours let me get what I need to do done. But naturally waking up is far better than alarm. This isn’t supposed to be a motivational “grind set” speech. Do I want to be comfortable for an hour? Or do I want to be productive? That’s the question I ask myself. HOWEVER, I’m most productive in the morning hours, and at 5am it’s silent and no one asks for shit, so I’m free to go as hard as I can. I enjoy sleeping because I get so little of it. Or bite the bullet and just wake up between 4-5am naturally, start my day and cram out 6 hours of work and nap at noon till 1 and reset and have energy to power through. Sleep til 8-9 and have an alarm blaring in my ear and not be very productive until 10am…. For a while.įor me personally it was a decision. For me the pivotal point came when I would wake up at 8am and still feel tired at 12pm. I’m usually asleep from 11-12 and I naturally wake up between 4-5am. I don’t think I’ve gotten more than 3.5-4 hours sleep since I was 13. See the difference in people who go in the early mornings versus those who go after work. I go to Planet Fitness and many people think not a lot of members are motivated. Before, I used to be so tired at work all the time for the first couple hours and picked up my work towards the end, but it wasn't sustainable to get all my work done.Īnd another thing, because I like going to the gym, you see way more productive and go getters in the early mornings than you would after work. So when I get to work, I feel so much more refreshed and energized for the day. Plus, when I wake up earlier, my brain is moving and working. And because I have more time in the morning, I can actually work on doing my morning skincare, makeup, and dressing up that I normally didn't get to do because I used to sleep at 2am and wake up just in time to wash my face and go to work. I try to wake up at 5am to go to the gym for 1-2 hours, shower, and then get ready for work. r/personalgrowthchannel (personal and professional growth) r/KaizenBrotherhood (self improvement, being your best self) r/GoodbyeDepression (overcome depression) r/DecidingToBeBetter (self motivation/self improvement) Have some feedback for us?
